To support its ambitions and activities in the health sector, ARaymond has invested €66 million in a new production site located in the Centre'Alp industrial area near Grenoble.
The construction has just been completed, the first injection moulding machines and assembly machines have been installed and are currently being qualified.
A new phase of ARaymondlife development
For more than 10 years, ARaymondlife has been manufacturing and marketing RayDyLyo®, an alternative to the aluminum capsule system for caps on injectable and lyophilized drug bottles. This innovative and reliable product has become a reference in the pharmaceutical field.
By investing in this new production unit, ARaymondlife enters a new phase of its development.
An eco-friendly and low carbon building
The building includes 5800 m2 of production workshops in ISO 7 and ISO 8 clean rooms. A special effort was made to design an eco-responsible and low carbon building, with the objective of obtaining the LEED Silver certification (US equivalent of the HQE label in France).
The majority of companies involved in the construction of this building are local, under the direction of architect REDRAW (formerly ARCHE 5) and client GSE.
The wood cladding and frames are from the French Alps. In tertiary areas, materials and furniture for reuse could be used. Solar panels have been installed on the roof of the logistics store and will cover part of the site’s energy needs.
The new site is scheduled to be commissioned in the first quarter of 2025.
